health&safety app backup info ver. = v2051 in sysnand 4.2 and emunand 9.8. it's work fine on emunand 9.8
but doesn't replace health&safety app in sys/emu nand 4.2.

Which are the differences between cdn_firm.exe and cdn_firm.py?

EXE - just runs on Windows. Not multi-platform.
PY - Python script. You would need Python as versioned 2.7.x to run it.
It was able to get via browser. However not now directly since there are multi files merged into one.

Yeah, but I get two differents files, with .exe 943kb and with .py 5767kb

I used the .exe to download the firmware.bin but rxTools freeze, and then I saw that there was the .py and with this file rxMode booted.

Sorry to disturb you. However i can not get the file cause the ISPs blocked the amazonaws.

It still isn't working for me. Downloaded the latest one on github, got the correct firmware.bin, deleted rxtools folder when it didn't work. Nothing works. It freezes on installation data

It seems you messed up your sysnand before. USA FW 4.2 can't possibly have v2051 H&S. There's most likely 4 files in your folder: two .tmd and two .app and rxTools, most likely, searching for highest ver TMD.

To properly handle this kind of cases best choice for rxtools devs would be not just search for highest ver TMD, but looking in *.cmd file to see which *.tmd is actually used.

I am unlinked and now it doesn't work when I removed the cias from sysnand. Tested with Rhythm Heaven Silver

On another note, emunand doesn't have to be updated to 9.8 to use FBI Injection now, since all the versions of the H&S app are covered now?

You're right. I re-linked my NANDs and now it works. Anyway, it's a good to have custom GBA without have to install patches

it took me like 2 minutes
as a precaution, i deleted the existing rxTools folder, rxTools.dat and firmware.bin before pasting the new firmware.bin(MD5: 75a56eb75078aa5de73f3b9aa2815a3a) and rxTools.dat

I suggest you to use the .py script for the firmware.bin

what is your sysnand version and how were you trying to launch rxTools ?

my Sysnand: 9.0 , Emunand 9.8 , unlinked Nands , installed via Spider exploit (browser).

That's the only thing I can think of, but it shouldn't be..

I gave up. I'll go back to 2.5.2 until this issue is solved

Same problem here. I'm using 4.5 sysnand, 9.8 emunand, unlinked nands, and mset launcher. I have same problem in two 3ds xl.
