Hacking Whap happend to the Kernel exploit? Any update.

I'm been waiting for this for a long time, I know it is not an easy thing to develop but, what happen?

I read on several threads that it was going to be release in June and someone even said it would be earlier.

Any update?, I can only find the web browser and userland exploit.

but with a kernel exploit it'is sufficient to write a game loader?

It is possible, but it will probably require more work than traditional backup loaders, which just redirect disc reads to an ISO. The Cafe OS filesystem APIs will need to be patched, and you'll need some loader or kernel patch to get the game code into memory.

What's the minimum version for the kernel exploit to work? Webkit is now 2.0.0-5.3.2. Is the kernel exploit more stable on lower firmware versions?

Also any news on the IOSU exploit working on anything higher than 3.0.1 ?

The kernel exploit should work on every supported firmware version, although 2.x and 3.x may have issues on some versions. As for the IOSU exploit, I'm still unclear where Hykem is on that.

Let's just take the time to summarize all that we have that's currently released at the moment.

First, There's TCP Gecko dotnet. If you were to Google for it, though, you'd only find the source. That's where one of my earlier threads comes into play! There's a thread on the Wii U Hacking and Homebrew page where I asked for the compiled version. Generously, wj44 uploaded it for me, so you can go to that thread if you want to save some time!

Secondly, Caffiine is also currently released. You can find this dotted around various threads, however, I can't remember which thread I got Caffiine from. (If you don't know what Caffiine is used for, it can replace and swap files within the game file structure).

This is all that's been released regarding the Wii U game modding scene. Finally, we need the kernel exploit and the Homebrew to be able to hook these two Tools up to the Wii U.
