I am, as ever, a fan of the descriptive titles, and if someone wants to misinterpret it and post me their toolbox then I shall not say no either.
Anyway I am curious to see what other 'tempers have by way of tools. Since winter has ended I have been regularly going to car boot sales (more of a UK term, think yard sales, swap meets and possibly flea markets) for the first time in a few years. At this point in time they seem to be packed with retired and retiring tradesmen all just getting rid of stuff. As it seems nobody young around here has a trade any more, or if they do then it is power tools or nothing*, then I have been cleaning up. Also doing well for PS3 and 360 games but that is a different thread.
*not that I am doing badly on the power tools front either.
If someone has it as a trade or type of engineering then I am probably interested enough to be a liability in it, and with tools to do it these days as well. About the only thing I do not go in for, mainly through lack of tools, would be leatherwork ( https://www.youtube.com/user/satansbarber?feature=hovercard ). However over the years I have seen various members say they do not even have a respectable set of screwdrivers which blows my mind.
I will figure out a way to take pictures of my stuff later but I thought I would start it now, if someone also wants to do some kind of workshop tour then even better. I will warn you though that I am no tool fetishist and I am all about getting things that are both practical (the poor bastards 300 years ago would have jumped at my modern power tools, though it is not to say their toys were entirely without merit) and that I will use often enough to be worth the space, though I have no objection to people having tools for aesthetic/display purposes if they want.
