Well that was the exception I was talking about. But it's a good tutorial. Now I wish I had a New 3DS + Cubic Ninja. xD

So I have a .3ds of Neo Pokemon Y, that I obtained on a iso site that shall not be named I went through my sysnand and deleted the Pokemon Y data (it was odd because it didnt say "Pokemon Y" it just said Pokemon with a all red pokeball logo), loaded it up on my gateway and when Gateway does its magic, Nada. No NeoY icon it just remains blank like the slot is still empty. Would I have to go into Emunand and delete the data as well? Help? Thanks in advance.

don't download it from an iso site then, you have to actually manually get it yourself

or you could simply download the prepatched rom from the official neo xy site which will not be linked here, you will have to find that site yourself. the neox rom works on that website, but the neo y one doesn't im gonna give flintiex a mega link to a working neo y rom for that site tho. i WILL NOT link you this website you have to find it yourself

I can't find "slot0x25KeyX.bin" in the packhack for some reason. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, is it possible to just update a prepatched Neo X Rom that I downloaded from somewhere else? If so, how would I go about doing this?

just copy and paste the garcs in the data folder in the romfs and replace the files and build from there

nope unless you manually edit the game's text to revert it back to what it was, i prefer having more of a challenge, flintiex did this on purpose

so no you can't, it's not even an exploitable firmware. (exept for sky3DS and browser exploit) but for run romhack with sky3ds you need 9.2

You can use just the browser for Ram(Save) Hacking, not Piracy, Rom Loading, CFW...

So I am having some trouble with this ROMhack. I have both my brothers pokemon X copy and my own Y copy. I ripped both of them using Gateway's Cartridge dump function so they are both clean.

Followed the instructions given in the download in the first post and had no errors at all. Once it is all said and done I copy the game back onto my microSD card, throw it into the Red Gateway card and I try to launch the game from the title manager but it just gives me a "Fragmentation error" message and won't start. Anyone have this issue yet?

I know the issue. Do you have other games on the Gateway? If so sometimes you get that error when you add games one at a time instead of all at once.

Edit: so basically drag all of your games to your PC and then drag them all back at once.
