I recently ordered a Gateway 3DS from PeachDS. It arrived fairly quickly but I keep getting "filesystem error" when I try to load any backups. I'm convinced the gateway card itself is defective so I'm sending it back and swapping it for one that works.

Before I do this though, I'm wondering if there is anything I can do with this card before I return? Can I use it to install a CFW, then return it, or is my best bet just returning it and waiting for my new card?

Edit:I have a FW 6.1.0 3DS XL.

File system error I believe is the memory card at fault unless the diagnostic says otherwise. I had to use an SD program to write 0 to the sd card and it solved everything.

This is a micro-sd problem. Did you put all your backups on the sd card at once or individually? Try formatting the sd card and put on everyting in one go. That should solve your problem.

Sounds like an SD problem format the card in the exfat format and put a small rom in the .3DS format and see if it loads when you select it from the menu. Also make sure your sd card is real or not broken by checking it with h2testw.

I am fairly certain that my cards sdcards are legit because I bought them from Best Buy, but I ran h2testw on them to be double sure, and they are legit.

The diagnostic does say that the issue is the SD card. I have formatted the card and placed the files on numerous times, in numerous ways, and still had no luck.

There might be something wrong with the connector between the sdcard and the Gateway.

Yourhero, which program did you use? Because that may be my last hope.

Try to put 1-2 layers of electric tape on top of microsd, over the contacts area. Then insert it into red card and run test.
