so what will this exploit do?
I can safely say that won't be happening for a while.Homebrew = watch mkv on wiiu, snes, n64, mods, etc

Well there is but not anything major. Drawing homebrews or games like pong something simple like that can only be done for now.Only mods, maybe in a year homebrew since there's not much documentation yet..

WiiU 5.4 is now out.. stability of stableness continues.. a 271 mb update of stableness

Browser is updated but OSv11 seems to be untouched. More to come.
Everything updated: version.bin, Wii U Menu, System Settings, ErrEula, Wii U Electronic Manual, the thing with app_type_list.txt and title_id_list.txt, HOME Menu, Internet Browser, and the AOC Overlay App
Source? Why is this not on the front page?

As with any prior update, if you are concerned, the least risky approach is to assume it is not safe...So, do we know if it's safe or not? @NWPlayer123 hasn't said anything about its safety yet.

The new plan is probably to finish one of the Webkit bugs we're working on, get code execution on 5.3.2, get kernel exploit up and running, find some new bugs on 5.4.0, and then stockpile a bunch. Only then will we probably release anything. By then there will hopefully be a few good ones. Sorry to disappoint anyone hoping for something at E3.

Don't forget about Yellows8's 3DS/Wii U/vWii update reports too. There hasn't been a need for human confirmation of wiiu updates:
