Hey guys, I'm currently using the latest template, diskwriter and firmware for my 3ds. I got a private header from a game and replaced all public headers with this one using No Ban No Sky. My private header is from Zelda, Majora's Mask.

My problem is that when I cycle through the games, some games are being skipped.

For example. I'm at cubic ninja, I press the blue button. The light goes on, starts flashing very fast, stops blinking and blinks once. it's now on Fire Emblem. I can get this to work, no problems whatsoever, using RegionFour etc.

But for certain games this is not the case. I'm at cubic ninja, I press the blue button. The light goes on, starts flashing very fast, stop blinking and now the LED stays on.. starts flashing very fast again, goes off and flashes once again. It has now skipped a game and continued to the next one. This happens with for example Rune Factory 4 and a whole lot of other games.

For certain games, I have noticed that when this happens and it wants to flash very fast for the second time I can hold the blue button for 5 seconds and release it. It will then start blinking slowly and not skip any further. This is how I got Xenoblade to work. I have not got this to work using RegionFour.

Has anyone else have this kind of behavior, did I screw something up? Help is massively appreciated.

EDIT: Not sure if this is relevant, my uSD card is a SanDisk Ultra, 32GB.

Make sure the roms match your consoles region, if that doesn't work try I different SD Card.

Some games do indeed not match my region, this is why I tried using regionfour and it actually works using for example, Fire Emblem, Project X Zone, Kingdom Hearts 3D. Which are all US, while my system is EU.
However, some games both EU and US seem to have the behavior in my first post, using and not using regionfour. For example again, Rune Factory 4.

All you can do is make sure you have the most uptodate disk witter and template, use the stock template instead of your modified one. Try a different SD Card and only use your region roms without the region 4. If all works then start changing things once at a time.

Alright, I just tried Rune Factory 4 without my private header using a non-modified latest version of the template. It didn't work, I would try a different uSD card.. if I had one. Does anyone have any other ideas before I have to spend money? ^^ This same behavior is shown with Monster Hunter 4, Zelda - A link between worlds, Code of Princess and a whole lot of others.

Have the roms yubare having issues with ever worked for you with sky3ds?

Also have you tried changing the SD card format, try exfat or fat32 etc.

I have only formatted the uSD card using the build-in option of the diskwriter, is that not the correct one?
No, I only have my Sk3DS for about 3 days and those roms haven't worked uptill now.

Hmm, I will take that into consideration, although the store I bought it from took quite a while to send it to me, so I'm kind of reluctant.

Not sure if it's this, but, some other region games will show up as inserted, but mostly, if they're not supported, it just shows as blank. Its still that game selected and you can boot it with RegionThree and Four.

The way I use my Sky3DS with other region games, is I put my SD card in my PC, open DiskWriter, right click the games that I don't want RIGHT now and choose "put in reserve". It's still on the card, just not active. Then I leave Cubic Ninja and the other region game as active, so there are only those two, which makes it really simple.

Keep in mind however, when you turn a game off, hit the blue button so it changes game. This moves the save to the Sd card. Choose to back up the save before putting it in reserve. When you move a game back from reserve...

Put your Sky3DS in your system (powered on) and HOLD the blue button at the same time. Then eject it and put it in again, the LED will now flash rapidly; this means the save is moved from the SD card to the cart.
Might sound advanced and annoying but it's really quick and easy when you've done it once.

Or maybe I misunderstood you completely and this doesn't help you one bit. Oh well.

Right, my EU games on my EU device act the same. Although I have not noticed a limit, as long as I have enough good roms :)

My problems have been fixed by a few very specific actions. When I run regionfour and press the blue button to change rom, the light goes off, blinks fast, then stays on instead of the regular fast single blink. At that last moment, quickly hold it for 5 seconds. Now release it, it will blink slowly. Press start to load the rom using regionfour. After a while the game might either start or the blue light might go on again, if the last happens quickly hold it for 5 seconds again, release it and it will blink slowly once more.

The problem I had is that I can't use the blue button anymore in order to save from EEPROM to the uSD when it is blinking slowly. In order to fix this I changed the EEPROM to NO and I had no more problems, I did this with Sky3DScTool_v110_CN_EN.exe

Thanks for the suggestions and help ^^

If it automatically switches games without pressing the button - its red version.

You're not really fixing anything, its a workaround to run games on red versions. You will have problems with saves in some games so if you can - return this card to your seller.
