In the past, i have used the URL:
http://www.battlefieldsingleplayer.com/apachethunder/Images/gateway/index_msett.html
to install the MSET exploit successfully on my 4.x

but as you see, that URL is now down and i urgently need to install MSET on my 4.x

The HTML file that was hosted is found in this post:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/beta-spider-ds-profile-roploader-4-x-only.380725/

I have been trying for the past 2+ hours to try and host the file myself both on my windows machine using IIS and also tried it using google drive hosting.
Both methods failed and i have no idea why.

Can someone please link me to a mirror (if it exists) or point me to a guide to host the html file myself
or if anyone has any other ideas, that might be helpful please do post.

Thank you

The browser gives the message "could not acquire page"

while it should give the message "failed to load part of the page"

Hmm, weird. It's a direct clone of the original. I'll look into it

Try putting this on you sd: https://baldorps.com/3ds/code.bin
One sec i try this out.

I don't have a 3ds on me atm, but I'll try to figure it out.

nothing really, i had recently upgraded my 4.2 to 9.0 using sysupdater, (did not update the system settings, it preserved MSET on 9.0 but like a moron i wiped it). Wanted to try some stuff out on 4.x so downgraded back to 4.2 today and ever since, been stuck on getting MSET to install.

I did contact Apache Thunder but it seems he hasn't been online in a while.

You might have updated some things you should not have :S, maybe update to 4.5 using sysupdater, but I could not recommend it. Do what you wish :)

IT WORKED !!!!!!!

thank you soo much !!

Any particular why this one worked and not the others ?

I've just copy-pasted the code there from the original thread. It probably launches in some other way than the usual loadcode.
This is my subdomain, though, and if I ever decide to do spring cleaning there, this might disappear.
You should fix your own hosting or something.

Also, try this: http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/rop/?LoadCode4.dat&code.bin
(Note the "4" after "loadcode". This version is for 4.x)

Yes, I'll try the other URL with the '4'

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150

Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
