holy shit. I just figured out how to give infinite magic without code persisting methods such as NTF-CFW debugger cheat loader and without Chateau Romani. so you know how the health code also can affect magic amount? i did some digging looking for stuff on asm but i realized im no programmer so i desperately looked for how to write a value as infinity and got floating point referenced webpages and the hexidecimal value 0x7F800000 claimed to be positive infinity. so i started testing codes hoping nothing would crash from an invalid value. in an attempt to set the health value in Majora's mask to infinite i set it to 2xxxxxxx 7F800140 and saw nothing but a health refill that was still depleteable from regular damage. i repeated only changing 2xxxxxxx to 1xxxxxxx to get the same result. then i set it to 0xxxxxx 7F800140 knowing it means magic would be altered as well hoping again no crashes. I ended up with interesting results. I tested everything from the lens of truth to magic arrows to Link's charged up sword slash. I am about to test it with Fierce Deity Link's magic sword beams. so far it's infinite and without the need for a code freezing system or Chateau Romani. im freaking out about this hack guys edit: i think it has a certaim threshhold before magic goes back to depleting and if its broken the infinite value is lost. i tried goron link rolling and eventually the infinite magic wore off yet if i try supposedly less magic-draining rate things like the charged sword spin attack or i leave the lens of truth on it's not enough of a constant high depletion rate threshold to disable the infinite. so i guess it's a semi infinite code that when tested its limits can wear off.
