Weird lol apparently it was a bug with the old version of PK3DS so I redid the file entirely and reuploaded - I just tested and it works for me so Noctosphere you may want to retry

Uploaded mini new version with same name which just goes further to simplify install process as the patcher will now automatically install the correct banner and icon depending on whether you have X or Y - much thanks to gudenaurock for his continued support with the patcher!

Thanks, the intro was the same because when i redid the text i forgot the professor was in the game text part instead of story part i shall have it redone when i get up tomorrow morning. No plans for ORAS i believe drayno is already hard at work editing them!

hello again, i found something, but i don't know if it's a bug.
In previous versions, when battling a trainer with more than one pokemon, once you defeatone of them, it says something like
Youngster Austin is about to send in a pokemon. Would you like to change of pokemon?
But now, when the opponent trainer want to change of pokemon, it says
Youngster Austin is about to sens in a Piplup. Would you like to change of pokemon?
Before, the Pokemon's name wasn't mentionned, now it is...
Was is expected? Or not?

Yep it should be just a pokemon not the name. Another result of the text redoing. I'd immediately noticed this and fixed it but looks like you beat me to it in downloading before it had uploaded lol

I mean it's in great condition now and perfectly playable but i just like to be a perfectionist and so will review everything lol. Eh well at the start i had no idea at all how to get into 3ds hacking but luckily my interest came at the same time as tools like PK3DS came out. It's been fun making it but certainly stressful at times.

I do have one question. You mentioned that we need a Gateway to play the hacked rom. Do you mean Gateway specifically or am i allow to use something else like the Sky3DS? I am asking because i dont wanna spend on a R5 only to realize they are not compatible as those things arent cheap.

hey, that's pretty impressive that someone made an account and as their first post not only did they thank you, but it's also making it so that they want to gear their purchases on homebrew and stuff around games like yours. it's pretty impressive Flintiex. I have tried to build a Pokemon Neo Y CIA for the past couple of hours.
In my first try, installing the cia failed. Probably because I was using an old 3DS to CIA tutorial using xorpads.
In my second try, installing the cia succeeded (used new rxtools decrypting method). But starting the installed game results in a blank screen (after loading pastaCFW).

Has anyone succeeded in making a cia and if so, could you please provide a tutorial?

MidnightSuns Yeah you're going to need a Gateway it's the only one to my knowledge that can play edited roms :/
Vahnyyz I know haha makes me very pleased and let's me know all the hard work is worth it!

Also, updated restoring the professors introduction speech and added a few lines to the table meeting of the friends. Nothing important so don't worry about updating if you've downloaded already

Is this supposed to be implemented into the latest release or are you still working on this? Just asking, since the file 2/1/2 which contains all the move data is completely unchanged and was not included in the last releases.

Also I noticed when looking through the evolutions, that Clamperl's evolution might be bugged. It only says:

Used Item [] into Huntail
Used Item [] into Gorebyss

In pk3ds, it also appears to be empty.
