so here's my situation:

• O3DS
• 4.2 sys nand, 9.7 rxtools emunand, 4.5 Palantine cfw
• no CN cart

so what I'm thinking is, install CN onto the palantine cfw, launch this, install CN to my sysnand, then update my sysnand?


it's too bad I can't just keep this all on emunand

it won't work, since you need to boot CN CIA with signature patched, and ....wait, that could actually work, since brahma boots sysnand...i think,....nvm, you can't boot palentine with a sysnand over 4.5

1. no, since the installation is fully on ninjhax side.

2. yes, on the main thread, just make sure to copy the files given to the root of your SD card.

1. No, but you won't be able to buy/download on eshop the unsigned cias you installed, because of the fake ticket, even for an update/demo/f2p. (unless you restore your nand backup)

Weird, but if you're on 9.0-9.2 just use the eshop spoof to download any demo/update in the eshop.

Since there is no legit CIA of Cubic Ninja, that idea won't work.

Just like the answer to "will this enable piracy?" is "we already have Gateway", the answer to this is also "we already have Gateway" as well. Why would this result in any more beefed up security or legal movements than we already got after Gateway came out?

And none can even be made for non-Japanese regions; CN was only on the eShop for Japan.

the issue is that you can't run the CN cia without signature patches, so you won't be able to patch signature in the first place (you have to do that process everytime you boot the device)

At first I didn't go into "Data Management -> Nintendo 3DS -> Software" I then did it but it doesn't change anything.

Keys are ALREADY loaded by arm9loader since the first N3DS firmware.

Testing Xenoblade and an import Puzzle Dragons. I am betting neither work even with NTR loaded.

NTR won't even load. Retries a few times then "svc8 failed please reboot"
