I'm trying to load this on my gateway with a Eur MH file but it's not working? the save doesn't show up in slot 1.. put the save in my root of the internal sd

How do you start MH4U? From GW microSD-Card (3DS-ROM-File) or SD-Card (cia-install)?
For me it works fine with a 3ds-file/microSD-Card of MH4U (v1.1). In this case you only have to put the save-file to the root of the sd-card and overwrite the existing file.

Oh I did install it through cia, should i just grab a 3ds rom file instead then?

I get an error now when i try to load it while it's on the micro sd in the gateway card. It keeps formatting the save :S

with me it worked as follows: first of all start the game without any save-file from the micro-SD-Card. The game creates a new save file on the internal-SD-card. Then quit playing and overwrite this file with the one from toto621. Start MH4U again and now it should work ..

Here is a better version of my gliched save for MH4U (EU) : MH4U_Glitched_Save_v2 (E).7z

Content of save slot 1:
================
Progress: ~1% (only tutorial quests done)
All recipes unlocked
All Combo unlocked
Full Compandium unlocked
All items in chest, excluding DLCs/Events ones (14 pages)
Lots of money
Lots of Caravan points
Full Gore X armor for you and your Felyne companion

Enjoy :yaynds:

Still doesn't work, I replace the save file, and it keeps reformatting it, any idea why?

This save I made is for the OFFLINE ROM (so no private headers) so your ROM must be in .3ds (not .3dz).
You can still do local online play with offline ROM but no Internet play.

In fact if you try and by miracle manage to go online with my save you will be instant BAN because HR1 cannot have all items in chest or already wearing Full Gore X set of course

Is this through save editing or the ram hacking? if its the save editing how did you get around the save getting corrupted? ive been trying on persona q and devil survivor overclocked with no luck

Some games have protection in their savegames. Changing a single byte > corrupt. Gave you links to ARCode / NTR :)

I got that far but when i find the money value when i load it it's corrupted what else did you change to get around that?

ds2 has no crc verification, so that you can edit it as you like.
for persona q ... too lazy to write instructions.

You need to restore CRC, but you need to know how to do that.

I tried it on a few games, but it was annoying to fix it, thats why i prefer to use ARCode/NTR.

Maybe ninb could explain it ^^
