Hacking Problems with installing themes in a linked emuNAND?

Hi, I have a N3DSXL with linked sys/emuNANDs. I noticed that if I change the system menu theme in my emuNAND, the theme in the sysNAND gets changed as well. So I was wondering if there would be any issues if I installed new themes to the emuNAND and applied them? Does anyone know? I'm a bit paranoid of bricking my sysNAND

If you don't have compelling reasons to keep Emunand and Sysnand linked my advice is to unlink them to prevent these issues (as well as issues with CIA's on linked nands). And also completely block wifi access on sysnand to prevent accidentally upgrading it

Don't worry about it, you'll be fine. I installed a huge pack of themes in a linked emuNAND, and the theme usually reverts to default in sysNAND. But when you're back in emuNAND all you have to do is go into your theme settings and select your theme again and it'll be back to normal. If you picked themes for the shuffle feature, it still remembers what you picked. So it might be a minor annoyance to reselect your theme, but you won't be in danger of bricking your system.

I have a legit theme on my emuNAND now, purchased in emuNAND from the eShop after 9.2 support came out. So it doesn't appear in the themes list in sysNAND, but the theme usually stays active when I go into sysNAND to switch modes. Sometimes it even stays in sysNAND after a hard boot, weirdly. When it switches back to default I just have to pick it again in emuNAND.

Well, I'd rather keep both NANDs linked so that I can use games installed from clean cias in both of them. And I believe that as long as I have dummy wifi profiles on all three slots in sysNAND, I should be safe. Or do you know of any other risks of accidentally updating a linked sysNAND?

Thank you posting your experience. So if I had a theme I installed from cia applied, it would revert to the default one whenever I load the sysNAND, meaning that I would have to reapply it in emuNAND every time I boot my 3DS? And btw, what's your sysNAND's fw version?

If your nands are linked and u install a cia theme on emunand, every time you will go back to sysnand it will revert to default them and every time you go into emunand again you will need to select the theme again

I see. Kind of annoying, but oh well. Thank you for clearing that up :)
