What do you mean by a proper DS Whitelist? The most proper you're going to get is downgrading to the DS Whitelist from 1.0. Unless you mean full unblocking, in which case I'm actually curious if you could pull a DSi 1.0 whitelist and use that.

I mean something that's not permanent and can actually be removed/uninstalled if needed.

OR something that can be installed on emunand, aka without messing with sysnand.

Edit: Sorry, I forgot that DS mode doesn't work with emunand, but just something that isn't permanent on sysnand.

Well technically a downgraded title can just be upgraded, so not entirely permanent.

This is what I ended up doing. Uninstalled the whitelist and installed the original, pulled from the CDN. Yeah, it can be updated but it's not like I plan on installing >9.2 on sysNAND unless something else comes along.

Use 3DNUS and download titleID 0004800F484E4841, set version to 0 and pack as a CIA. Place it on your SD card somewhere. Use a CIA installer (like BRM or FBI) to uninstall this title from NAND and install the one you made. Quadruple check that you removed the correct Title. I cannot stress this enough.

you then tag the three devs to bring even more attention to it? posting in the thread is not enough?

I don't have an answer to that question as am very new to the 3DS scene. I have a N3DS XL (AU/PAL). I have Cubic Ninja and a Gateway

That's the first thing I did Copied it to at least four different places and also took a backup of my 9.0 Emunand

At the moment, am literally broke after investing so much on the N3DS XL, the Gateway, the MicroSD cards, Cubic Ninja

Just wanted to try out some DS games to get that nostalgic feeling and I read the Gateway Blue card is a pretty decent card and plays pretty much every DS game once it's been unblocked

FYI, I don't think the 1.0 version of the white list is available on the CDN nor is any of the other v1.0 FW titles. Earliest versions CDN provides is for 2.0 which was the first available system update I think.

I think it is, actually. I used 3DNUS to download 0004800F484E4841, with version 0, packed as a CIA, and it's 322,800 bytes in size, while version 1026 (presumably 2.0?) is larger at 342,272 bytes. And needless to say, their hashes don't match.

EDIT: 3DNUS says invalid title/version when I attempt that. I think only certain files are available as 1.0.

It let me download v0 DS Cart White list, but not v0 TWL.

Yep! Some flashcarts were blocked by TWL directly so the DS Cart White list isn't the one that needs to be downgraded for certain flashcarts.

Maybe the latest Xebuild would help

The last build of 3DNUS that I'm aware of is v1.9 which I think was posted sometime in March. I already have that version, so no, having the latest version isn't going to help in this case.

yeah that one would need TWL_FIRM to be downgraded too as it was blocked in 4.x, most blocks at that point where TWL_FIRM based, but seeing as you only need a pre 4.x TWL_FIRM you *may* be able to do that

The DS cart white list has a title ID of 0004800F484E4841 with "484E4841" being the unique ID. It will appear in FBI as "N/A" and does not have a name.
