Not sure if anyone else has run into this.

I was using the save that was converted here, and it does work as I see the *****GATEWAY profile. If it was the wrong ROM, the save simply wouldn't work - it would show as corrupted or something.

(Plus, to my knowledge, CONTRAST is the only USA ROM anyway)

I have the Launcher.dat on my MicroSD card, but yet when I press A to activate the exploit, the system simply gives me a white bottom screen and a black top screen. The music stops as well.

What's weird is... I tried two different MicroSD cards, both had the same effect, and trying the exploit without a MicroSD in at all also did the same thing! So somehow I'm thinking my system isn't accessing the MicroSD as it's supposed to, therefore it's not finding Launcher.dat and it doesn't load.

I have the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate console that I ordered from GameStop, so I know the MicroSD itself is working as the MH4U game is there.

Anyone else had this problem? It's not a case of it not working because I have the wrong version of the game... not sure what else is going on here.

It's on 9.2.0-20U.

I had the same problem. That's a good sign that your save works.

The bad sign is the white-screen issue is µSD related. It can be either the µSD inside your Sky3DS or the µSD inside the N3DS or both that let the exploit crash.

Use the original 4GB Toshiba inside your Sky3DS and (important!) reformat your card inside the N3DS with windows (make a backup) and copy only the launcher.dat to it.

This solved the issue for me. If the exploit works then you are free to restore the backup of your µSD (Don't format it again)

I solved this by formatting the 3ds, and when prompted about the internet, i accepted the agreement. And didn't set up internet connections. Then launched zelda with 3d off completly as that kept failing too.
Something in this process fixed it as i had you problem 17 times without any success while in another n3ds it worked in the first try.

I really don't want to do a system format because mine came with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate pre-installed and I won't be able to re-download it without updating it to get access to the eShop :/
I want to at least make a NAND backup using Gateway's launcher before I start messing with system formats.

I can certainly try different MicroSD cards. I've got a bunch of them... I tried two inside the N3DS itself (the original Toshiba and another which was 8GB) but only had the one 32GB inside my Sky3DS that I've used since day one. I'll try swapping that one out as well.

I'm not sure why it works, but it totally did!

Using the Toshiba 4GB MicroSD in the Sky3DS did the trick. And I just used a different MicroSD in the N3DS.

Very strange, but I guess I can't complain. Updating my emuNAND now :P
