Hacking New 3DS (LL) Out of Box Firmware Database

looks like its safe to say that the usa versions of the N3ds Launch with 9.0 looks safe to buy IF gateway would hurry up and launch N3ds support before nintendo changes there mind lol

I've been collecting 3DS's, trying to get one of each color. (I have every American Old 3DS XL except Mario Party Island Tour.) I have a serial QW40251xxx x American New 3DS XL Red that I could open and use as my New 3DS for play purposes. Or I have a black QW4003xxxx x. QW40251 would narrow down the 9.4.0 red boundary, and QW4003 would add an entry that is not currently listed. Which'd be preferred?

The submission for red would be more exciting, though I'm fairly certain yours will have 9.0.0. Someone posted in one of the other threads that a red XL with QW40252XXX X had 9.0.0, so your QW40251XXX X should have 9.0.0 as well. (Of course, wouldn't you rather play with a red 3DS XL anyways? Red > Black. )

Someone on the east coast reported a 9.4 XL though. Not sure if there have been any others, haven't followed it since launch day.
