do i need to rename the AQEP.sav because when i went to restore it it's not showing up !!

Don;t need to rename save file. If the first rom savegame don't show up, cycle to the next rom.

WORKING: SKY3DS + 4GB SDmicro + New Save File worked for me. US 9.0 N3DS

I kept getting white screen after pressing A - when I switched from a 16gb micro to the 4gb it instantly worked. Zelda is in game slot 2.

I'm trying to wait for a little bit till I press A when link is standing in the Hut but when I do it the 3ds just errors out and reboots

seems like its probably down to read speed or something on some peoples mSD cards, try a different SD card if it keeps freezing/crashing

so this is just like the old exploit on the old 3ds but instead of using the blue gateway card & ds profile exploit we use sky3ds & zelda !! but of course there is no support for higher firmwares (9.5+) like on the old 3ds & the head tracking 3d is broken (i heard if you put the n3ds in sleep mode for few seconds it fixes this issue) the gateway team said they're working on fixing it !!

IT WORKED - OK here is the problem guys - no doubt about it.

For those with white screen crashes - the card you're using for SKY is now corrupt. You need a new card - what I did was swap the internal 3ds msd with the one I was using with sky. I used that MiniAide Fat32 formatting tool to delete and create partition FAT 32 for both. Not sure you need that program but worked for me. Then I did the steps outlined on the updated first page and it worked. 2nd slot as expected. Again - the solution is this ( AND i SUGGEST IT"S POSTED ON THE FRONT PAGE) - YOU NEED A NEW FRESH CARD IN SKY. swap the sky 3ds card that doesn't work with the 3ds internal. Use that program to delete and create new partitions on both, saving the files from your old 3ds card to your desktop so you can easily transfer them over and then do the steps outlined

I personally tested the US and EU saves with a blue button Sky3DS, 4GB mSD in the sky and 32GB internal on the U.S. console and 4GB on the EU.

Heh, pretty much.

As for broken 3D--I just have to flip it closed and then open. No wait needed. The 3D probably fixes itself the moment the system starts to sleep.
A non-issue, at least for me.

My translation:

1 use DiskWriterV106b5 to write Japanese version of Ocarina of time ROM to card
2 use the DiskWriterV106b5 recovery with attached save
3 Put GW3.10 Launcher.dat into the new 3DS
4 insert sky3ds and startup Ocarina of time,
read save 1,
under the tree house and screenmenu display is completed and then press the A key,
GW crack appear, change to GW red card
boot into GW

I switched the SD Card 4 times in my 3DS (internal) and re-formatted each one using MiniAide Fat32 Formatter Home Edition 1.05 like joseph0042 suggested.
On the 4th card it actually worked.

It is a 4GB generic SD card (No Brand Name)
Just to be sure, I did the same exact thing using the 4GB Toshibia SD Card that came with my 3DS and it did not work (White Screen of Death)

Went back to the generic card and it boots to the Gateway Menu every time... go figure.

Finally success! I used the Gateway to load the savegame to the OoT cartridge and it worked perfectly on the new 3DS. I spent a few hours playing around with OoT on the Sky3DS without any luck. Now that I know my OoT cartridge and save game work to load GW I'll try dumping the game again and seeing if that image loads properly on the Sky3DS.
