So...If I am reading this correctly...

In order for this to work I would need an O3DS + LoZ:OOT (both of which I JUST sold) and spend about another 50$+ for a gateway.... So.....what, another 250$ just to get it to work?

I heard a lot of people found Nintendo's transfer tutorial very complicated :P would confusing would you say it is, maybe for the casual user it is
The tutorial is self-explanatory though, are people really that incompetent when it comes to technology?

What ever happened to the mii maker exploit. was it gateway who was working on that or was that someone else?

You can just get the dongle, which costs around 15-20$ and the OOT cartridge (40$-50$).

Yeah, I have a US New 3DS and mine just says : Ver. 9.0.0-20U
I set internet settings and profile settings differently for Sysnand/Emunand so I'm not completely in the dark, I'll update and hope for the best.

Edit: I updated, and everything seems to work. Still, it's kinda risky.

So, like me, it said Ver 9.0.0-20u? you booted into gateway mode and updated the emunand anyways? and it works fine?

Let me know.

Thanks.

It's pretty ambiguous, and needs an external tutorial to be sure of what you're doing in my opinion.

Yea I used the Cstick in MH4U. It was fine *emuNAND*. Just have to go to options and enable Circle Pad pro. Remember this game is an OG3DS game, not NN3DS

Yes. The first game to know about the C-stick being different than the CPP would be Monster Hunter, but even then, I doubt it will. In every game, it seems the C-stick is simply recognized as the CPP. I believe Ninty did it this way for full compatibility. In any case, whether it's an OG3DS or NN3DS it should still work.

I don't mean to be a noob, but would you know if I could use an Action Replay save dongle to transfer or can that only transfer from their servers?

flashcarts that use hacks or exploits tend to have real physical game requirements to run.

See the exploit requirements for installing homebrew on a wii. Depending on the version, requires a game of some type or another.
