Interesting how two things that do pretty much the same thing can't be merged.

Coding is always so interesting. I should have started learning it in highschool and then I could tell help with this stuff.

The most I can do is set up a basic macro script that uses colors to press buttons and that's not even real code at all:ohnoes:

Just curious if it's possible to merge Force Widescreen and Wii U widescreen? FIX94 never gave an answer

Yes, you can have them both on at the same time. Force Widescreen is actually a patch to make games render in widescreen. If you have Wii U widescreen off, it squished the screen down to 16:11.2 (4:3). So you have to have Wii U Widescreen on to have Force Widescreen look proper.
If you are asking if he can get rid of both options and just have them together as one, then no, as some games have internal widescreen support, which is better usually. Having both the widescreen patch and internal widescreen on looks bad.

v3.305 up

changelog:
* Added Ping USB HDD to settings menu replacing missing HID (enabled = 1 min 50 secs / off = no ping)
* Made wiimotes standby in 5 secs if no extension is found instead of 20 secs
* B: Cancel Autoboot will also display for around 5 secs now
* Fixed some missing menu button entries in update menu
* made both X and Y buttons access update menu (Y was unused anyways)
* tried to make the loader background not show when autoboot is off or nintendont is launched from HBC
now it barely shows for a fraction of a second if ever

can you please test v3.304 and check that ping HDD settings works as it should

Hi AbdallahTerro xD
I tried both options (off and enabled) and works! (v3.305)
However, I think it is more convenient to be so by default:
off = 1 min 50 secs / enabled = no ping
For people who do not know that the topic is ...
Question:
Some way to activate "HDD ping" from wiiflow?
thanks you!

why you want off = ping?
yes for now ping can be enabled from wiiflow using the HID option
I'll update both dols to make they show "Ping HDD" instead of "USB HID"

"off" is the default option ... so many users with HDD with "sleep mode" will report that games do not work shortly be executed
Leave the option "off = ping" I think that would avoid that problem xD
also before was so in previous versions:
"HDD pinging by enabling OSREPORT, default timer set to 2 mins"
question:
"Wiiflow mod 1076" to leave the option "deflicker" = on is forcing the video mode ... any way to leave it as it comes on the disc?

Just as in previous versions of wiiflow

oh I see your point, I used osreport off = ping on before but now we have a new standalone setting
I can name it No HDD Ping and switch it but it's not a big deal
deflicker will always force that's how it's made

OK, thanks for your hard work

New update:
* Added Fade out effect after cancelling autoboot
* Also More Fade in effects after downloading various themes
* Big code cleanup

Updated both dol and patch

Edit: Only bug left is loader theme appearing before nintendont theme when launching nintendont with autoboot off or when nincfg.bin is absent - I can do nothing about it because this is how the code will work and it's very minor (it cannot be fixed without affecting the loader theme loading)

I'll make a new update page for older nintendont mastermod revisions to clean up the update menu a bit
