If you need picture proof of my MM QW4005 unit I can post, but based on all the other MM's I think you can believe it's 9.0

yes it's a relief...i'll just play my retail games on the N3DS and my Gateway games on my XL. (until Emunand comes out and i'lll just pop that card into my N3DS..it's already a MicroSD card in a SD adapter so I'm all good to go whenever SOON™ happens)

probably give the wife the XL once GW support comes out

Good to hear. Just checked online and that black one I ordered from Walmart is not due until the 24th now. So a higher chance it may be part of the 2nd batch. Pick am going to hold onto my o3DS for a while longer as well. Can be useful as a tool if I am forced to go sky at some point.

QW4014 is not the same as QW1014. QW4014 was 9.4, and I already confirmed it.

Yes it does. If he is right, maybe GameStop is updating the firmware without us knowing it... There is no way to check on the New 3DS.

Edit: It's just that my W101 code was already used for Club Nintendo when I purchased from GameStop; but I already pre-ordered my New 3DS XL, so there was really nothing I could do, and I wanted the MH version, so there was no point in canceling.

Just bought a N3DS XL yesterday and didn't notice this serial on your list:

That's a pretty damned good story. I had to order mine online as every damned retailer w/in 100m of here was sold out by lunchtime.

I ordered "black"(looks dark grey to me) because (a) white shows dirt(I think this was the other option) and (b) red yech. IF they HAD blue, I MIGHT have ordered that over "black", but just by pure luck and selection black it was. (QW1004 9.0.0-20U I posted b4).

Man it's more of a bitch to get that back cover off than their manual would seem to imply, but I managed eventually. Worst cover removal that I've EVER had, I was beginning to think mfg defect and they glued it, but got it and swapped in 64GB uSD.

Now gw3ds get busy so I can retire the sky3ds.
