I don't mean simply injecting the header from a Gateway dump into the ROM, I mean taking a ROM that is not yet on Sky's pre-made templates and getting it to work.

I recall asking about this a while back, and while people were able to identify which lines of the template came from which areas of the ROM, nobody actually had any way of automating the process...

Just thought I'd check the scene again to see if anyone's figured out how to make completely custom template entries yet. (Obviously for proper ROMs, not hacked stuff)

Has anyone simply asked Sky3ds? I know their communication can be pretty awful, but you think they'd want people using their card as much as possible.

they shown their not willing to take template maker public! i ask them once...they only reply "we will update template soon".....it kind a annoying...we cant burn our newest private dump game like MM3d and MH4U into DW....well since ive got my own retail game doesnt bother me much....but for a long run...doesnt look good...i wont sit hitting F5 waiting new updated template....i preffer to have an option to make myself...that if there is a tool for it/a noob freindly guide to make it ourself....

With Chinese New Year coming up, it's possible Sky3ds users could be waiting weeks after release for working MM or MH4U releases. As a Sky3ds user myself, I agree, it doesn't look good for the long run. We basically have to hope:

A. Sky3ds continues support as long as 3ds is still releasing new games (not likely TBH).
B. Sky team publicly creates a tool to create working template files.
C. Somebody else figures out how to create a tool for creating working template files.

Of course this all goes out the Window if Nintendo actually does block the card with a future update.
