When I press select in GW mode to load my games, it says Filesystem Error on bottom of Gray Gateway window on top screen. Is there a fix for this?
usually that is related to the sd card. Have you recently formatted the card? Is it a fake SD card?
You may need to format it with Panasonic SD Formatter so it'll be formatted to factory specs (and not windows specs). I'll find the links to do this and to test if the card is a fake. Give me a second. that's the only thing I could think. Are you in emunand when you do this?

Edit: Program to test if the sd card is fake is h2testw
I'll try and find links for you.

I am backing up a 3DS game now. Will it also create a picture to show what game is? When I tried previous backup of a game, it just showed an empty square on the top GW window screen when I pressed Select in GW mode...

I backed up a 3DS game and put the .3ds file on root of mSD card. I booted into GW mode and pressed Select. The top screen GW appeared with 1 item in it, but the item did not have a picture and when I tried to load it- nothing happened... Am I doing something wrong?

I would assume it's a bad rom. Could you take some pictures of your screen when you do press select. Are you in emunand when you do this? Also, what do you have on your msd. Also did you test your sd to see if it was a fake or if there are any problems with it.
