For now....thought we can't even dump the images ourselves, no thanks to the hackers, AKA, the Illuminati. Save for the ISO images dumped online...I mean....

That's how crediar gets them, how I get them, and how anyone else can, too. They're legit.

That is, until we actually can dump them on our own, which I highly doubt will happen, given how secretive Wii U hackers are.

Short of an IOSU exploit, which probably no-one outside fail0verflow has yet, probably the only way to dump discs is with external hardware. Like the few prototype units the Wiikey team is said to have sent out to several people.

This is vary useful if you want to see how the game works, game resources, wiiu emulation and exploit finding. this is just off the top of my head

Plug the Wii U's drive into your computer with a custom SATA cable (you need to make this yourself), then you can dump Wii U disk.

doubt it they've been ripping wiiu images for ages now this is the 1st time we've actually seen one of the tools released that does it.

CDecrypt decrypts NUS (Nintendo Update Server) files, like DLC for games. DiscU decrypts disc images.

CDecrypt doesn't download files. It only decrypts them. You have to use NUS Downloader somehow to download them. DiscU doesn't save a decrypted copy of the ISO. It only decrypts it in RAM while it runs and extracts the files from it.

He's asking if he can download and extract the files for NSMBU, to which the answer is "yes". However, all links are dead so good luck actually finding a download.
