Hacking Gateway 3.0 : "Ultra"

Is there a guide anywhere that covers the process for that? I'd like to know everything I can before splurging on a Gateway.

EDIT: Would games based off the latest firmware have any trouble going online for multiplayer?

If you can get the updates for the games itself on Classic mode you should be able to play online. Not sure how to install .CIA to Classic mode though.

Just learned that new3dscard shipping outside the UK doesn't use UK stock. It ships from Singapore. I recieved my tracking code after countless emails, but it doesn't seem to be of any use (Just says it was dispatched). And now I checked the website for their estimates, and Greece wasn't on the board, but "The rest of EU" was estimated to be 9-17 weeks.
Bottom line, don't order from new3dscard unless you're in the UK. (Playmods was out of stock).

Can i downgrade my flame red 3ds to 4.2.0 from 9.2.0 and update it to 4.5.0 using gateway 3ds with Luigi mansion dark moon rom my flame red 3ds is a United States version.

Ye, but why do you want it at 4.5 so much? 4.2 does the same.

The Gateway team used 4.5 for developing their product, and it may be personal preference to use 4.5 because of that.

There's very little differences between 4.2 and 4.5, you're basically using it to launch your Gateway. Mine's at 4.4 and I'll stay there, no reason to tempt fate and fk'ed up my console with a minor update.

And most importantly, what will this "surprise" as promised by Gateway be?

Ya. Actually i'm curious too. If i run gateway mode without emunand, or if i use a sky3ds with Luigi mansion rom. Can the sysnand be upgraded to 4.5 from a rom? Or the original cart is still needed.

I'm guessing it could be the different region emunand thing that was shown off by cearp. Remember there are a number of people who bought the Jap N3DS as it's cheaper. Me included. This would be something very cool to have that the Jap N3DS might running with EUR Emunand or even US Emunand.

Is it possible to run emunand from a different region? If so, would it give the impression that say the US console is now suddenly a JP one?
