Can't wait to see this happen i already laughed when thomas booted into menu without red card and couldn't turn off console.

well that was boring, i guess i'll have to wait for someone on n3ds to try and downgrade to 4.5 to have some laughs, but n3ds still isn't supported

All other VC works. At least the ones I tried, which is GB, GBC, and NES.

You're likely correct on that. I was using the word quite loosely.

For me it's the exact opposite, I hate having all the games on the home screen. They need to be in the multirom menu, purely for aesthetics.

Apparently EmuNAND works. I booted Classic mode and I'm seeing GW3D 9.2.0-20U in the settings

Mine stays in a black screen. What exactly did you do?

I bet that the surprise update is going to be GBA support.

It's the only thing Gateway can't do.

N3DS support shouldnt be a surprise.

Glad it's finally released. I drove off to hunt for a micro SD card, and nearly everywhere locally is sold out.

Did a quick play around with Gateway and currently setting up a bigger internal SD so I can backup my NAND.

Updated emuNAND to 9.4 and games work fine, only problem i had so far is that only with smash bros, when i put close the game from menu, it takes you out of the emuNAND and you back to sysNAND, so you would have to run the browser thing again.

Wouldnt be a problem if yeah... we need to have internet connection to get into the emuNAND xD so playing smash outside is a bad idea

The reason for that is that Smash Bros. eats up all available RAM on your 3DS, even the internal running OS is overwritten. -- As such it has to crash back to plain system, nothing can be done about that, even on an original untouched 3DS using the original Smash Bros. cartridge, you will notice it does a quick reboot of your 3DS when exiting the game.

Emunand doesn't seem to be working for me without a Gateway card.

Do I need one or can I boot emunando without it? All I get is a black screen.
