"Need" No. You CAN install homebrew as a .cia, or you can use Cubic Ninja, or you can use a .3ds of the homebrew. Three options.

If Garyopa has no SOLID information about the release date, or the release for the matter, then yes, it'd be best for him to just stay quiet, instead of the false image that he somehow knows more than others.

When it comes down to fact, Garyopa knows more about the release then anyone else on this thread, Gateway has provided us with wrong information, don't you think it's possible that garyopa was also provided with the wrong info? Keep in mind he is not directly part of team gateway. Release could be any minute stop blaming him for Gateway taking extra time.

Gateways last post was on the 18th of Dec. and 31 days = jan. 18th. That and some people have said in previous posts about it being released before the 18th.
