nah they dont. cuz its illegal. Its that simple.
They encouraged ppl to buy. I bought too. I waited till now. So now what? I feel bad, I wanna complain, but does it have any use? NONE at ALL.
I would like to sue them for sure, but will any lawyer take my case? Unlikely. So what can I do? Well screw myself, cuz I chose to believe in them and yet they failed to deliver?
What now? Give back or wait. Got 2 choices. Help urself with it.

NO didnt get ur point. Since its ur own fault believing in them. Noone will EVER feel sorry for u. Just like THAT.

You got the product you paid for. Even if they were legal and you could have a good lawyer, there's no grounds to sue.

Gateway have promised nothing beyond what you knew you were getting when you bought the product. There is zero promise of support, zero promise of release dates or even updates at all. You accept this when you buy the product. They could decide to stop releasing updates *right now* and you'd have no case against them. End of story.

Hey guys, just one question,

if/when gateway releases the exploit, theoretically if it came with emunand,

can I use my retail carts to
a)download eshop updates for the cart directly via classic mode,
b)install .cia updates to the retail carts
c)none of the above?

I also want to know if I can plug in gateway, run the exploit, unplug gateway and plug in a retail cartridge from another region and play aforementioned retail cartridge.

All hoype is lost :( This is the one time I'm actually pretty sad about one of the countdowns being wrong. ;-;

You could rip your retail cart, install it as a cia and download .cia updates I know that works for sure haha. No but really, I'm pretty positive you can install .cia updates for use in conjunction with retail carts.

Other than that, we're pretty unsure how this update will work and how different it may be.

Just because you say you are not covering them doesn't change the fact that you are still pushing forward sugar coated explanations for them. "They are a small team... they are not even an official firm, etc". That is covering. I don't understand why one would feel the need to do that though. I think I just found what's the issue here. Some people here don't mind being lied to. They just ignore the fact they have been constantly lied to, deceived to I don't know to what end. Me on the other hand, I dislike it. That's what I'm expressing here.

well another one just thinking of himself as justice... Go with it and u will fail on a lot of topics. But its ur free choice if u dont listen to any other explanation. I said it already, I m waiting too. I m not taking any sugar coat.
Its just that simple. I mind being lied to. I mind being deceived. But I dont accuse others if I put my faith in sth illegal. I placed my money on them, knowing they are illegal and therefore I m not protected by any law.

Just that Simple :D

The way some of you defend Gateway and make excuses for them is quite embarassing.

If THEY themselves aren't interested in good communication and happy customers, why should you take it upon yourselves to help them, for $0.00 no less?

u took the lawyer part too serious :)
I know it. Thats why I said noone would take ur lawsuit. :)

Been an hour already, should not have been released? Or has escaped me something?
an hour or so
I think it's encouraging that the estimates are so close in the future, even though they always have been.

How many hours is one expected to wait?

They've already been waiting: Appoximately 930 hours.

Not being funny lad but they clearly had the exploit working on a N3DS months ago. How much longer can it take?
I understand very well, I'm not myself asking to wait a little longer. What I wanted to mean is if I were expecting it in a few hours, I would just wait instead of trying to convince the others to wait.

Neither side is wrong at this point, people have a right to be angry and have good reason for it, others have a right to not be angry and have good reason to dismiss criticism that doesn't really make them angry.

Thanks. but what about the saves? the main reason as to why I want to be able to update retail carts is because I want the physical save saved in the cart.

Unless theres a way to put saves onto retail games? :O
