What a shocker. It's almost as if Gateway keep overly optimistically stating a release window to push more prerelease sales, but surely such an honest company wouldn't do that, would they?

Is Garyopa GW's team? No. Can he receive inside info about releases? Yes. Is it up to him for those informations to be kept true? Obviously not.

Then why retaliate? You're just being stupid.

I personally am not at all in favor of flooding a particular forum with shit. Or even hurting anyone. Infact I own a 4.5 3DS XL as well and I'm pretty much enjoying my Gateway.

But since garyopa is the admin of the Official Forum of Gateway he will obviously be held liable for what he promises about anything related to Gateway. He in turn owes everyone a response regarding what went wrong regarding his promise. So you should not be banning people for asking that question.

Seeing as everyone is so frustrated, I am going to post what i posted a moment ago, to give a different perception to this whole matter:

You guys shouldn't be so emotionally invested in this release. Slainfu made some very valid points on maxconsole- http://www.maxconsole.com/maxcon_fo...Team-Releases-Update-Status-About-9-2/page126

Because of the nature of this exploit, the Gateway team not only need to tweak and upgrade their site but also add and change many things to accommodate this exploit. That takes time. The safest bet is it will be released within the next few days, within this week. Garyopa just reported Gateway's estimates. Their estimate for the release was 48 hours 2 days ago but to be honest, I think it's really more like double that. Gateway gave us the most hopeful and optimistic estimate. And it wasn't a promise, they said 'probably'.
