i agree with you.
GW may send the beta firmware 3~4days ago.(inferred from the unofficial guide thread ).
the people who received the fw are less than 5.
they tested the beta firmware and maybe there 's no bug with the beta version.
sonyUSA can't wait to draw the attention and post the guide,which are confirmed by the GW.
they probably release the fw today(i mean Jan 4 ~ Jan 5 ).

Even if they do... i am scared to go online. I have a N3DSLL JAP, and can barely navigate
the normal menu.
I went online one time.. to update from 8 to 9.2, then deleted the access point details.

So for me there needs to be a way to install this whole thing offline, otherwise
9.4 will hit me.

Why you ask?

• Gateway confirmed the release, it will be out by the end of the week, they said.
• Sunday is the last day of weekend so it is still a weekend.
• Gateway updates their site at around 10-12 pm GMT+0 time, which according to that time, is still Sunday.
• Sony-kun couldn't help himself but post a pre-release guide leaking all the secrets.
• Gateway mentioned that the software part was done, only the server work.
• 2Hack's tomato sauce.

Therefore it will be released in the matter of hours, it has been fun guys.
