deleting internet settings.
That isn't foolproof either, Spotpass will connect to any open networks it can find to download its updates.
I recall someone else earlier in the thread swears that the hassling notifications went away after he reformatted his SD, but I don't know if I really believe that.

IT'S HAPPENING BRO!

WEEHA~!

YOU SEE THAT, Phantom_User 2Hack puppy?!
TIME TO START THE LOCOMOTIVE AT FULL STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM AHEAD!!!!

Digressing a little, do we have anymore emails to date that was received since yesterday?
Puppy_Washer look at how they butcher your name in your absence.

Either he works at Google or just happened to have the money to invest in one. I'd say it's a waste of money myself if I hadn't bought a Rift a few months back (although I still use it for development so that's pretty nice).

I had spotpass disabled and all and still get the prompt on both my 3ds's, though. I only turned the wifi on after disabling everything update/spotpass related and I still get prompted.

Yeah you got the prompt. But after a reboot the prompt is gone. I had the notification on my 3ds too just once. When I let it go in sleep mode. After rebooting I have never had the notification again

True, that. I just have internet disabled alltogether., though they've both downloaded it already, so it doesn't make much difference. I tried the supposed SD format trick and sadly it made no difference.

I get it recurringly, not just once

I'm starting to see the connection here though. As soon as someone makes a troll thread saying that they supposedly have something, the real thing (or a video) is released within a few hours of the post.

I am planning on buying one, whenever the fuck they let Australians get one

my source says that gateway will release the update

Prepare yourself on speaking out loud when you plan on sending questionable messages. And apparently net lingo doesn't seem to translate well on it.
Still very keen, it'd be a cool thing for only $1,500
