This, and if you haven't accepted whatever new agreement they have lately, you might be saved by that as well. I once accidentally hit update, but it gave me this long EULA which I quickly declined.

Nobody said it will install it, we've said you'll get the prompt. I personally am going to turn wireless off in sysnand and only turn it on in emunand, don't want to risk it.

Either he works at Google or just happened to have the money to invest in one. I'd say it's a waste of money myself if I hadn't bought a Rift a few months back (although I still use it for development so that's pretty nice).

This, specially on a 4.5 console, IT WON'T INSTALL THE UPDATE WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT.
Also, you can always format the system (not the SD, the system itself) to get rid of the update nagging, on a 4.5 or below system it won't connect to the internet to check anything before a system format.
