Yes, programming and bugtesting is hard to estimate in spans of a few weeks, you can't guarantee how many bugs will exist or how difficult it will be to fix them.

Tomodachi is nice, but it gets boring soon :/ Animal crossing lasts much, much longer.
I highly recommend playing Fantasy Life and Rune Factory 4 ASAP, these are two of the best games in the 3DS game library

They only said the software was done after the promise of "before the 5th" was made, so far it hasn't been extended since they confirmed it was done.
With that said, if it's a payload like Ninjhax, it has its own risks of bugs and unforeseen brickwalls.

Dude they have been saying many things to stall and give false hopes. In my opinion that's not so cool.

I agree with you but if you were in their position wouldnt you do the same thing? People bought their product and they made money = them being happy. They are gonna release the update when its actually ready for release = you are happy.
Again, nobody promised anything and nothing was set in stone. The most important thing here is that they always deliver - sometimes sooner, sometimes later but they always do.
