What's the likelihood of that being patched?

Absolutely impossible to know.
If I were in your shoes, I'd honestly look into selling your 9.4 and buying a used <9.2 3DS or even just trading. Unless you've a metric shitton of 3DS estore downloads that you can't bare to lose, you'll probably come out ahead.
What do you mean the 9.2 exploit just came out? It doesn't say it on the website. misleading much?
Ninjahax DID just come out recently....
Ah my apologies I thought you were talking about gateway exploit. The wait is getting to my head sorry.Ninjahax DID just come out recently....
That's literally impossible, because Gateway announced 9.X support before smealum announced what game Ninjhax required, so the likelihood of the two using the same entry point is almost zero.In my opinion, Gateway analyzed and reverse engineered the same exploit or one of the several entrypoints Smea used that allows kernel access in order to release allow piracy for the end user.

Good point, however just because they announced it does not mean they actually had a working exploit. The video did not appear until end of November. That's literally impossible, because Gateway announced 9.X support before smealum announced what game Ninjhax required, so the likelihood of the two using the same entry point is almost zero.
i doubt they would of just announced it unless they had something fairly definite already(maybe not worth showing off i.e no menu or whatever, but im sure they would of at least had a solid proof of concept ready to build on), or they would of just announced 5.x+ support a year ago in the hopes they find somethingGood point, however just because they announced it does not mean they actually had a working exploit.
