I currently have a 3DS XL, 9.2, no GW yet. To my understanding... it utilizes a micro SD card correct? My system came with a 4GB SD card so I assume that'll be enough for whatever it'll be used for (saves, etc). For a micro SD card, what size/brand is everyone using? Thinking about getting a class 10 Kingston or Transcend 32GB, but not sure which brands are incompatible with GW, and how big roms generally are...

Yes but I do not even have a 3DS/2DS. I selled mine old one bcause my bro has done 9.4 update.

So I am waiting this update and if there isn't EmuNAND for 7.x-9.2 FW, I'll don't buy a new device.

So there is no way to choose a language on a multi5 release?

afaik most games will default to the main language (in most cases English), but i remember reading that some games will default to a different language i.e French/Spanish if played on a Japanese console, afaik there is no way to change the language on most games as its set by the system, but some games let you choose the language in game like pokemon

If that is the case I hope there will be a feature introduced that lets you set a spoofed region or a cheat that sets the desired language.

Yes micro SD card. You can take a look at this thread for the brand:

Maybe you should get a Transcend. 32GB is enough. Roms size go from 500MB to 4GB.

As someone living in the US with a JP 3DS LL (arrives in like 2 weeks), should I be concerned? Can I connect to the internet even though I'm not in Japan? Do I have to pay some wonky fee to access the internet? Any help would be appreciated.

As far as I heard that was only to access adult sites on the browser.

You pay a small fee to fully unlock the browser for adult websites.

The 30 cent thingie was to remove the web filter for the browser, so if you're not using the browser, or using it but not accessing any pages that nintendo deems to be filtered(not sure if that means anything else aside from nr0p), you should be fine.

Though I'll laugh if they deemed this website as an adult website.

Some of us have bought Samsung and San Disks from Amazon. They have fairly competitive prices right now.
Mid range class 10 cards should be fine about $15 for 32GB and $34 for 64GB. I doubt the Gateway can take advantage of the super fast ones that are made for high end cameras.
