Wow why do people keep emailing them with the same question? They're obviously not going to give a date, it's just going to be done when it's done.

In the meantime either buy a preowned game for cheap or play something you haven't finished yet. I bet almost all of you have got games you've not yet completed

They never have. Why do people expect this to somehow be different? Just sit back and wait for it to be released instead of hounding them with emails that are the exact same question rephrased a million ways.

Sort of offtopic, but still Gateway related I suppose:

I've started looking into downloading games for when my Gateway arrives. Each game is around 1GB, how on earth are people fitting them all onto their SD cards?

Or I'm just dumb and missing something obvious.

Not all games are that big. The biggest *I think* is RE:Revelations at around 4GB. But the thing is we usually have fairly large micro SDs in the Red GW (I have a 32GB) and large regular sds in the 3ds for .cia.
Look up 3ds rom trimmers and refer to this for what you can't trim.

Yes. I didn't see EmuNAND support there though, which makes me kinda skeptical.

This thread is almost ten pages of the same information. The most hilarious part is people trying to break down the response of a team using basic English. If you guys need games this badly, just go buy them.

Or just wait patiently and give the team some credit.

As has already been said in this thread, they've finished the software but they're setting up their server for release. Maybe because they'll need a new server to deal with all the traffic, or maybe because it'll need to download a payload from a server like ninjhax does.

They should just respond this. When they reply to someone "within a few days" in the begining of a week, the same guy will keep emailing them during all the week thinking this day has come.

i like the second picture....assuming its real, is that a specific release date "The New Year the arrival of that day"....would be kinda symbolic for them to release exactly new years day

Yes. I didn't see EmuNAND support there though, which makes me kinda skeptical.

They might have been on emunand, the latest firmware when they made the video was 9.2, so there wasn't really anything to Emunand up to.

I guess because they're a company and they want to do things professionally without bowing to the demands of impatient people?

Maybe they need to do the manual/guide pdf to both 3ds and new3ds consoles, a new video, setting up the servers to download, etc etc.

Any weaboo (JP-exclusive) game recommendations?
Here's what I'm getting:
- Puyo Puyo Tetris
- Taiko no Tatsujin 3DS
- Hatsune Miku

So much yes, both Taiko no Tatsujin 3DS games have a pretty good song library, same thing goes for both Hatsune Miku Project Mirai games.
Add One Piece Chou Grand Battle X and you have some pretty import titles.
