This is to all the people complaining that they aren't communicating well.

Here's the thing about programming.. It's hard.. It's hard and can often be unpredictable. Sometimes a bug can crop up and can take days or weeks to fix depending on the complexity and how well the code is written. They reason they can't give a more clear date is because they literally can't. Things can seem like it is all going smoothly and everything works, then you try something during testing and find a bug. I am majoring in Computer Science at my university so I know what I am talking about.

Just let them work. They always deliver a clean and relatively bug free update (let's not bring up the brick code... ). If they released it earlier and there were bugs, you would all be complaining about the bugs. It is much better in the long run if you just let them release it when it is ready.
Tried that... They won't let them work. They need to pester them so their lives are complete.

Hi guys, last news from few minutes after I asked them if they can give me a Window release date (1 week or more):

Yes bugs pop up, i myself do plenty of programming. They still could communicate about what is causing issues, rather then tell us its a few days away. They could be working on features for all we know. Theres so many things that could be delaying them, even a new website for that matter.

A little more communication on WHAT they are doing internally would be a great help, it would give people more confidence in them and lighten up on the emails.

What about the time GW took 5 f-ing months to release the multirom update. People seem to forget that. But I guess things were different then since there was no competition and no plants trying to undermine them.
I wasn't reading this thread at this time, I can't compare.

daniel bryan retires? one reason less to watch wwe :) but hey they still have mizdow and moxley ambrose..

highschool dxd! and i´m a lil bit interrested in exstetra

Sort of offtopic, but still Gateway related I suppose:

I've started looking into downloading games for when my Gateway arrives. Each game is around 1GB, how on earth are people fitting them all onto their SD cards?

Or I'm just dumb and missing something obvious.

Well isn't that rude. -_-"
Well, that means they just haveta fix the server then. -_-"
because of the rudeness i think this mail as fake, if they didn't want to say it they would have said something like "we can give more details until release because bla bla bla....".

I never said i wanted them to release the update earlier. They can take all the time they want but I would prefer they warn me. That said, this don't prevent me from waiting patiently even if I don't know when they'll release it.
