That's a bunch of bullshit.

1. They use Cloudflare which is damn near IMPOSSIBLE to attack as it has DDOS protection built in that's automatically triggered when it detects a lot of pinging coming from an address.

2. With all the hacking going on in other places, it's the most convenient excuse. If you don't have it done, just fucking say you don't have it done. Don't keep lying as eventually people will stop believing you....oh wait that's happened already.

3. If by some slim chance they ARE telling the truth(which as unlikely as pissing in a straight line while bouncing on a trampoline), if they would've stopped bullshitting people and release the damn update already without constantly making excuses, no one would have a reason to hack their site.

My best guess is that their site is broken because whoever is their web designer doesn't know shit from Shinola about web design and thus made a piece of shit site that breaks down whenever numerous refreshes come their way.

In this field, NOTHING lasts forever. The team could pack up tomorrow and leave, regardless of what promises and videos are made. Same with Sky3DS. They could up and leave tomorrow and you all would be fucked.

Sky3DS may be the best currently, but that could change in a heartbeat. It ALWAYS DOES.

It's sad that a group of people who were supposed to be the know it alls of the scene seems to have forgotten this even though there's still a few people here left from the beginning.

I'm waiting patiently - gateway has never let down on their promises. their goal is to earn money on this product and they intended to research ways in the system to allow more users to use it. they'll pull through - and I'm betting it has to do with smeas entry point.

Yes, yes I do. Computer Science and Programming are very vast fields, being highly skilled in a very specific area (Exploitation) doesn't gift you with the knowledge of how to build a website, DB etc and properly manage one.

I really doubt that'll happen just yet. They've shown video proof of the New 3DS running the Gateway, they're actively updating code, and they're still responding to e-mails. That doesn't sound like a team that is ready to up and leave at the moment. After this update? I dunno. No one does. But I don't see a reason for such negativity.

They have video proof of 9.2 (plus Ninjhax exists) so it is perfectly possible, and html and assembly/c/c++/whatever they use are very different.
The acekard team and all those in the ds cart scene bowed out because Nintendo permanently blocked them. They would have to make entirely new hardware and it wasn't worth it. You also say the same thing about Sky3DS that we've known for a month or so.
