There's a specific SD format tool nintendo recommends. I recently upgraded from the standard 2GB to an 8GB micro SD. I then had performance issues similar to your own and upgraded to a 16GB SD with 90mb/s read that is not using an sd to microsd adaptor. Still seeing the same boot slowness after the change. I think it is related to the size amount of the card along with loading of themes which is unfortunate. I miss my 5-10 second boot.

Yeah.. I think if the memory is bigger then 32 the 3ds boot speed slows down Just switched the 64 to a 32g and it's right back to the 5~10 sec speed

It's off topic and I tried to search for it but I can't find a single thing(or just not searching with the right key words..)
I'm trying to convert 3ds files to cia files but I need an xorpads file. what exactly is this file?
and I found out I could eject the file with the bigblue menu but I can;t use that yet.
So is there a way to extract the file without the bigblue menu and do it menually?
If there is a thread considering this matter it would be alot of help

I think that email about kids going to get it before school means before Jan 5th. I wonder what they'll do for us, 4.5 owners, will we have to change our entry point ? I wonder... At least with CIA install I'll be able to use my gateway to play on my 9.2 while sharing my 4.5 in emunand to my sister or friends to play multiplayer together ^^.
