Well even though I am Atheist I "know" or at least learned that the 24th is Holy night or Christmas eve but Christmas itself is on the 25th still even those "I am Christ and I go to church ever day and pray to God and am very unsocial and bad to everyone else" tell me Christmas is on the 24th -.-V

Didn't they say in the Bible that Jesus was born about midnight so the actual birthday is the 25th ?
(well yeah I know many "scientists" say it is completely off but yeah you know what I am about)

Coming from a Christian family, we usually just attend a small service on the 24th so that we can spend time with the rest of the family on Christmas Day. I've never heard the claim that Christmas actually falls on the 24th... heck, hasn't it always been the 25th? Like, for a really long time?

A really, REALLY long time?

"Christmas" What is that? People (of political correctness) have changed it to "Happy Holidays" so you get to celebrate whenever you feel like it.

There isn't anything in the bible that says Jesus was born on Christmas, or even anywhere around Christmas. Pretty much the only reason people have called the 25th the day Christ was born was purely because Pagan religions would celebrate around that same time of the year. If anything, the bible (haphazardly) states that his birth wasn't anywhere near Christmas based on various events and such. The Roman census, for example, being the reason Mary and Joseph were traveling was never held during "winter" periods, it was normally in the spring/summertime, or how some passages state that shepherds were out in the fields at night, which they wouldn't do during winter periods because of the weather conditions.

Regardless, it's been the 25th since around 300-400AD, so not really sure why you would think it's the 24th.

Jesus wasn't born on either day. The December 25th was chosen by the Church leader. Also note some countries get presents instead on DEC 6 (feast day of saint Nickolas) or in the Russian Orthodox church its on January 6 (due to the calendar they use)

Well in Germany like 90%+ of the people are actually celebrating Christmas at the 24th and that makes me a little bit angry, even though I am an Atheist I think if you are Christ or whatever you should do your things correct ....
my girlfriend is some kind of hardcore Christ and was totally shocked when I told here Christmas is on the 25th -.-V
