Doesn't Ninjhax access the internet browser when the exploit is installed for the first time? Maybe Gateway is also using the browser for its entry point?

I highly doubt that. Otherwise ninjhax could be an entry point to a kernel exploit, which was stated many time by mr Smea that it isn't.

Also as I understand it, there's no "installation" that takes place. It's simply running code and requires you to re-scan the QR code each time it's launched for ninjhax.

Well, there is no installation to the system, but you only need to scan the QR code one time as it is "installed" into the game.

Pointless conversation is pointless. Gateway 9.2 kernel exploit doesn't use Ninjhax as no external hardware is needed which rules this out.

Anybody still believe what InfinityDream is saying about Gateway (under "programming")? It says 9.2 won't have EmuNAND but then again this was the same reseller that said the 9.2 update wouldn't be multi-rom. I still don't understand how they're still an official reseller

I dont believe anybody who isn't GateWay. And further more Emunand is a massive feature, I seriously doubt It's dropped. Infact I'd wager that's the only reason It's yet to be released, because Emunand is so important in making it futureproof they want to make sure it's perfect.
