It's like having every game right in front of yourself, but not being able to play. Actually, it's much worse, because here, we each spent close to 75$ for this stupid card, in anticipation of the update :(

Have you ever bought a console but no games for it? That's exactly the feeling I have, and I'm talking consoles before the Wii/360/PS3 generation when you boot up the console and it directly starts the game or you have some BIOS menus or whatever, and all you can do is just stare at the console and menus waiting in anticipation. It's even worse for people who bought a Japanese console who don't have Japanese games or bought an Australian console and don't have EU games. I'm just gonna continue playing some other consoles and portables...

Who has cubic ninja? Unrelated but, this is what brings homebrew hype actually, thanks to smealum :)

Gawd, wish I did. Actually did order it off Play Asia while it was up, sadly they cancelled order saying no stock of course :(

It's what pushed me over the edge to learn python. if anyone remembers the super sonic wii homebrew game, that exactly was the best part of homebrew.

I have cubic ninja, and homebrew, but I kinda shy'd away when I realized how much I gotta learn before I can contribute, and the fact that it's so early right now, everything is limited.

Cubic ninja is the game I used more on my 3ds xl, even more that smash :wtf:

Homebrew FTW ! :toot:
Stopped playing smash 3ds once it came out on the wiiU. HD 60 fps 8 Player smash m8.
If I didn't have bad internet, I'd suggest we all play MK7 or something, maybe once we got our gw carts though. How's the online on it?

Can't agree more on the WiiU version, so great :D

Does Cubic Ninja becomes obsolete if you have a Gateway? Gateway stated in their video that the 9.X release supports homebrew.

Anyway, since I'm in China at the moment, I had no way to get Cubic Ninja, but I'm sure the local stores back home would have had a few copies, I definitely missed out on getting a copy.

It's yet to be known whether or not Gateway will support the homebrew launcher that is done through Cubic Ninja or if it will even support the .3dsx format.

assuming cubic ninja worked through emunand. and knowing ninjhax works on 9.2 fine. It might be convenient to just stick to cubic ninja if you want .3dsx ;)

If there are any problems with homebrew after release, just get Cubic Ninja on your Gateway.

Problem solved.

I recall people were having issues with setting up Ninjhax/SSSPwn on 4.5 with Gateway. Something about having to redo the exploit with the QR code every time if I remember correctly.

a very few had problem, most confirmed ninjhax works fine on rom, .cia and 9.2 emunand, even 4.x firmwares.

Oh well if that's the case I guess that does make the retail cart pointless. Guess I'll just wait and see

Not pointless. 9.2 users like me have homebrew access on 9.x sysnand while I'm voyaging on the hype train with everyone here ;3

I've had it both on the red card and installed with a .cia and I've had zero (0) problems with both methods.

I've never had to redo the exploit/rescan the QR code. It may be an isolated incident?
