Exactly. I seriously doubt they will bring in a 'custom updater' for 9.x.

They're just supporting the fellas that heeded their initial announcement and moved to the favourable firmware set: 9.0-9.2.

Why do I have a feeling that everyone is getting the 8.x thing all wrong? So they want to bring support to 8.x so you can run GW natively. If you're on a lower firmware than 8.x let's say 7.x you can just simply update your 3ds via a game card to 8.x. I mean it's not rocket science :)

At least smash bros is worth it. lol. But that is only if they have an exploit for 8.1, which would surprise me tbh. But the cubic ninja exploit is also very limited, which is worrying as well. Unless they manage to get a strong exploit from cubic ninja.

also, nearly everybody owns a copy of SSB, it's not like the Cubic Ninja fiasco

rocket science is easier? (Even Kim Jong Un understands it)

You must please understand that for GW, emuNAND support is easier than whatever they are doing to support higher firmwares, after all, they have been working on the emuNAND of 4.X for a long time.

4.X for them is like.
Code:
if FW=9.4
  delete=block_for_emuNAND
  delete=block_for_GWcard
(sorry, I'm not good with pseudocode)

9.2 for them should be at the moment like this:
datafrustrationspressrelease1.jpg

(especially with the New3DS emuNAND).

ROLF LOL.
I just received a response from Gateway... to an e-mail I sent on 16-06-14 (DD/MM/YY).
We do not have a newsletter running, but don't worry, as soon as released, so
many sites will carry the news, you will know.

Unfortunately, we are not yet able to give a final date that we know we will
respect for sure.
But we are almost done, the wait won't be long.
We published a video here:

to keep you waiting and to give you an idea of the features to come while we
fine tune our final release.

There is hundreds of thousands of Gateway users, bricks stories are just that,
stories.

With that phrase they meant emuNand support, but it doesn't matter any more, XD

Half a year ago... pwew......
(storiez, storiez everywhere)

Waitway completely ducked the question; no comment about the continued presence of bricking code.

Figures.

Sheeeeit son, I didn't see this one coming. :huh:
fook me im a liar :O

guess i imagined those bricks back on b2

Seriously? They just said they did in the announcement.

Thats the dplaktos with her high hyping attitude :D

Edit:
Actually I m not sure, but shouldn't we form up sth like a hyping team from all over the world? That would be like there are always a couple of us from different time zones hyping nonstop xD
