im sure they can focus almost all their time now on 9.x support.

unless nintendo decides that they want to add more features, or more "stability". But even their regular users are getting tired of the frequent updates they've been sending out.

Anyways, I think everyone's hype is seriously starting to fade. It made sense that emuNAND would be supported first, but 9.2.................. :(

What a punch to the nuts!
But I'm happy that GW cares for its 4.5 users and I'm looking forward for 9.2 support. That being said, I'm almost positive GW uses a similar exploit like Ninjahax does. I mean it's clear that every firmware up to 9.2 is exploitable.

They also did say that below 9.x users will be able to update via a game cart, but they didn't explain which one. This is why it makes sense for the cubic ninja exploit. Maybe some sort of custom updater via homebrew that only brings you up to 9.0-9.2 or something?

Nah, I guess it was more like that they wanted to push out emunand first for their customers who already have the gateway working. Because if I understood right, once u have ur 3DS on NDS mode u need to do all the firmware update again. And for them it's quite shitty, since they are forced by Nintendo to get to 9.4.
So in the end this is part of their customer support and also for those who curse Gateway and hype Sky3DS, since Sky3DS cant say anymore that their card is the only working on the newest firmware.

And as for the native 9.2 support, my hope just got bigger, since they at least mentioned it again, altogether with the hope of 8.1 in the future (which is in my knowledge the only one to do so)

True. It'll most likely be Cubic Ninja then. Dunno what they've got in mind, but it's good.

Support for all firmwares below 8.1. Some of us must be damn happy.

We also inform our users that they MUST NOT UPDATE SYSNAND TO 9.3 OR ABOVE, because we will not be able to support entry to those sysnand versions any time soon.
ouch if you updated to 9.3 on accident. Although you kind of deserved it if you were that sure 9.3 would be supported :P

Srsly, as long as it works without bricking my device, I really do not care which hax they use. :D :D :D

All good on this end. Hype mostly intact. This update means I can get on eShop with my O3DSXL now... :creep:

Loljk fuck this shit who am I kidding I couldn't care less about my O3DS :hateit:

You don't have to do the firmware all again if you use nds mode. Only the profile exploit. Having latest emunand not working is no hassle at all, you just can't go on eshop. But emunand is always updated fairly quickly, so they may as well get it out and get back to work on 9.2.

Well if it's 8.1 then I guess you could update via SSB right?

If you really dont care about that you could do something like a giveaway xD

Yuuup ~

And again, no timeframe for 9.x support.

HECK! Even 8.1 support has a better TIME FRAME than 9.x support. With 8.1 you KNOW it'll release AFTER 9.x . With 9.x itself it's "be patient until we are ready".

Been patient since goddamn day 14.

I legit cannot stop laughing at the reactions of some members who didn't take their time to read the update notes.

I know it feels like being punched in the gut, but I'm sorry, the reaction was still priceless. XD

As for the update, I would expect it around christmas tbh... But that's just a random estimation. Just keep being patient guys. XD
