With all the work the team is doing to release the GW firmware for 9.0-9.2 support, made GREAT advances by not just giving support for 9.0-9.2 BUT TO ADD REGION FREE, .CIA, MULTI-ROM as well, not to mention feel sorry for those that god juked into updating thinking they would get the 9.2 update and decided to now release there support for lower firmware rev. Than yes I am correct in thinking that they will support 9.3 emunand. But hey not everyone thinks like that so my bad if your feelings got shutdown.

I think you people are misunderstanding. What retrofan_k is trying to say is that EMUNAND support for 9.3 is going to be released. So far only 9.0-9.2 SYSNAND can run the exploit, they are also testing 9.3 so that the SYSNAND could run the exploit.

Nobody is hurting my feelings. I have done this to help users and be informative and this is the most up to date as of 11/12/2014 13:39GMT

Why is this irrelevant? It's a good point noting that prices might go up, leading to a discussion whether or not to buy it now. Of course it's 'simple' trade off (buy now and wait, or buy later for a higher price with 100% security of everything working) - but that doesn't make it less relevant. Certainly not until GW comes with the update. I'm sure there's lots of people here in this dilemma.

+1 because price IS a factor. not everyone has the privilege of living in America and the privilege of easy money. I remember reading a few Indian temper's comments on literally selling their kidneys just to own a N3DS/Gateway/Sky3DS.

No racism intended but that's just because only those kinds of people were the ones I found.

Nowhere on their website has Gateway stated that they were running tests on 9.3 Sysnand to see if it is working, all they said was DO NOT UPDATE, leading everyone to believe that the new exploit had been patched with the new 9.3 update, so yes, it is the latest news, as this is the first anyone has heard about that.

And although yes, it was obvious that they would release 9.3 Emunand support, this is still the first we've heard of it in writing, so again, still the latest news.

As I just said, it's obvious they would release 9.3 Emunand support without needing this clarification, as they always have.

You seem to be missing the big news from this post, the fact that there's still a chance that 9.3 SYSNAND will be supported. Notice Sysnand, not Emunand...

They posted that long before 9.3 was released. How would they know whether it's patched? They were just saying "9.0-9.2 is safe, but we can't predict the future".

I'm talking about Gateway's post from the day after 9.3 was released stating:

"Just yesterday system firmware 9.3 was released and after quickly analysing it we want to warn our users *NOT* to update their sysnand to 9.3 or higher if they want to enjoy our upcoming support!
We repeat, DO NOT update sysnand to 9.3 or beyond!"

I think the emunand is for 4.5 base and 9.3 will be supported natively if you stick with the current 9.2
That means there are two teams one on 9.2 and one on 4.5, both with further support

They say they are going to see if they can get emunand working on 9.3, not the exploit that already works on 9.2 and below.
