LOL this is funny move from Sky3DS.
This is the reason why competition is always good to customer.
I bet this will expedite Gateway's release for new firmware.

Sincerely I hope this will be a 'final' warning for Gateway. Let's be honest: though it's not really decent of Sky3DS just to release a brand new card, this new card is very, very functional. As has been said above, most people (like me) will buy a flashcard for the free games, not so much the homebrew capabilities. Eshop, region-free and multi-rom support would be nice, but I think a lot of people just want to stop reading pages and pages of forum dicussion and just start playing. Gateway has been stringing us along for about a month now - of course it's a strategy to make people interested and willing to wait. But as has been proven right here at these forums over the last few days, patience is running low for many of us. I for one would like to start playing as soon as possible, and I am not willing to wait until after Christmas on a gateway update. How good Gateway support and 'updatablility' has been over the years, the promised update has been nothing but words and a video so far. The least Gateway can do now is give an approximation of how long the release of the update will still take. They cannot leave their loyal users in the dark for so long, certainly now there is a decent alternative. I think that, if Gateway doesn't start clearing up their act soon, lots of people will move to Sky3DS - and I might be one of them.

Gateway website is on "maintenance mode" ? does this mean they are updating the website with the new 9.0 or 9.2 f/w support files ?

I am guessing that the Chinese hacker who crack 10 games limit may be Sky3DS employee.
if not.. how come they link the file to their official SKY3DS web site ? LOL this is too funny to pass!!

We've pretty much seen before that Sky3DS's professionalism isn't the best.
