Hacking 9.3.0-21 Nintendo 3DS Update Released

Yup mine will be here Thursday i know some ppl said that there n3ds from nippon-yasan came with 9.1 on it but i doubt thats the norm. my anxiety is through the roof waiting on an update from gateway

Updated my JN3DSLL. Amiibo is now being detected and can be nicknamed but still can't be used in Smash Bros.

No official word from GW team yet so I'm still hoping its not blocked on 9.3 fw

Wow this finaly came out then, I just saw OP's post before he got lucky on his announcement to grab game updates before the store gets locked to lower firmware... Got the ssb and pokemon ones... Whew.

So it blocks ninjhax but not the Sky3DS. So homebrew is more of an issue to Nintendo than piracy of their latest titles. Okay.

Maybe it means they are having a hard time blocking the exploit used by Sky3DS, or maybe it means it is not patchable. That could be a great news.

But it is only speculation.

Yes 9.0, buy one before stocks disappear and the new firmware is out on the production line.. Maybe 9.3 will work fine with GW.

Anyway I still trust Gateway, I'm sure they will find a way, especially they haven't updated the launcher.

My guess is Gateway was waiting for Nintendo to release their new firmware.

Well the way I understand it is that Sky3DS doesnt use an expolit, the 3ds see's it as a real game. The sky3ds will probably not be able to be easily blocked without blocking the real 3ds games. The sky3ds is like those old ps1 memory cards that have different slots you can switch too. I still have an old have that has 30 different slots that I can switch to. The playstation see's it as a real memory card with the normal size of just 1 memory card. You have to push physical buttons on the memory card to switch to a different memory slot. Just like you have to do on the Sky3ds.

This too of course is also speculation on how the sky3ds works, but sounds quite logical

it almost seems they were surprised that it works on newest version, like they were thinking it could of been blocked. If its truly read like a read nds card there be no chance of it being blocked.

So basically I should keep my un-updated 3ds off till gateway releases it's new exploit (also till my new gateway arrives from eachmall) then install it and update the emunand?
