To bypass some time, which game are you gonny play first, when you have got it started to work?
I bet some of you already have some backups on your hard drive ^^

Well, not entirely true...
What if the QA find this... or devs fix this "by accident"?
It happens... I'm a dev and I know it could happen :P

Then Nintendo must have a dedicated dev team to search for bugs and loopholes before they're reported. heck even apple doesn't have that team which is why jailbreaking is still relevant.

I will install the home-brew channel because that's what I use.

im sure both nintendo and apple have dedicated exploit teams who just work on monitoring and finding exploits to patch them before anyone gets to use them...........but truth be told they can only really make it hard i doubt any software in the history of computers has been completely and utterly secure

truth is these teams probably find and issue fixes for loads of potential exploits before the firmware even goes public so you wouldn't even know about them

Apple mostly want to move units, then apps. Nintendo sell units at a loss (especially at launch) to keep you buying games. If you just buy the console, and pirate everything else, it hurts nintendo more than it would hurt Apple.

Most likely amass my collection to my small 8GB Micro SD. I'll be trying them all out but.. I'll probably start with Azure Striker Gunvolt. :gba:

With this trend. I seriously feel like the gaming industry will somehow eventually merge with smartphone industry

Hoping to get Bravely Default first. But I've got so many legit games + my wiiU massive backlog. Maybe I will just play my untouched legit games off of my gateway to save space ;)

So the new australian 3DS ships with gateway compatible firmware?

yub :D

Doubt it. A lot of people will be pissed if that happened. Look at PS4/3/Xbox360/X1/WiiU and for now, 3DS. TONS of profit to be made, and so far, only the 3DS is vulnerable to damaging piracy.

What if Nintendo struck a deal with Gateway to release this teaser so people will import AUS N3DS to boost profit?

And it benefits both sides because then people will rush to buy Gateway cards inb4 the "update" that Nintendo is only rumoured to release?

The theories (although you're joking) only get crazier :P
