Yes it works on both systems. Though 8GB is a little too small for ROMs.

exFAT on 3DS? I don't think so.

Who said exFAT?
You can actually format a SDXC to FAT32. And yes, it works perfectly.
There are guides for this.

Edit: Plus, I'll be detailing my findings with trimmed ROMs whenever that exploit's out. So REJOICE for smaller filesizes!

128gb is too much, you end up looking like this.
64gb is the perfect balance between masculinity and practicality. You become rugged yet mysterious, like a 4 wheel drive with tinted windows.

i have a 128GB currently i have like 102games on it and it still has 20GB free. i ran out of good games to put on it when i was at 32GB.
i admit 64GB is better.(unless you buy it from ebay and probably get a fake one)
never had the hassle to trim a rom thats for poor people

No exFat for 3DS's SD. Gateway's Micro SD's another thing though.

It's recommended to use exFat on the GateWay MicroSD.

I am not sure what you're trying to argue with me here. Raymond7 asked if another team might come along that "beats Gateway in the nuts". I merely answered his question by saying, no, most likely there won't be a team that will destroy Gateway.

guy i bought the jap n3ds said he can't update it for me,he said he want's to leave the box sealed like he got it from japan (he's talking about the brown shipping box!!).

Both are 9.2J now. The left 1 is just to show that SSB New 3DS LL came with 8.1J firmware. =)

i think they meant the XL for the more older gamer,that's why they didn't include face plates or nes coloured buttons.
