Ftbrony is a good replacement for swapping out sd cards in case you didn't know. Haven't had to swap out the sd in forever.

Yeah, but the SD board is broken, (it notices when I plugin the SDcard but that's about it)

Oh shoot, my SD reader is broken and a new one costs 8$(nothing) AND 20$ For shipment... that's insane...
I will have to wait to test it myself on real hardware till I have a n3ds. :/

I mean the SD card reader inside the 3DS, the SD card board the one that you need to open up the 3ds to change

At that price you might as well just buy a defective 3DS on Ebay for $40, swap it out, and keep the other parts in case something else breaks down the road like a screen or circle pad.

I have pushed the Database SQL and the schema, corrected and functional.

You know what would be cool? If the main Homebrew Launcher notified you if there are updates for apps that you own,
kinda like Android does with Play Store! Then you can press on the notification to go to the DownloadMii page of the app
and download the update.

Also, will DownloadMii have menu music? You know, just like the Eshop.
Would be nice if it did and you could make your own playlist.

I have been looking into ways to possibly make notifications (like through news:u or streetpass) but that would come later.
Music is planned, however I want to get the main application in an usable state first

it can, if you use the commands that HBmenu uses to launch homebrew, you could just use downloadmii as the boot.3dsx file

I think another goal would be to run the program on a separate wifi setup. I don't have my 3ds connected to wifi because I don't want to deal with being bugged with updates so I'm losing capabilities, and sure I could block the servers through my router, but we all know that nintendo could change that at any point. Or maybe I will just turn my wifi on when homebrew loads but Idk if the 3ds will still attempt to push the update at some point while homebrew is open. I could see maybe having the program itself automatically blocking the nintendo IP but I'm not sure how complicated that would be at this point in time.

Blocking it via your router is probably your best bet. I think on device system wide IP blacklisting would require kernel access, which we don't get with ninjhax.

Yeah hopefully we will get it at some point, because I would love that option. what about with gateway? Or I guess we don't really know yet with the 9.2.0 update not out yet.

Anyone here who wants to buy and unused and still unboxed Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet so I can get the n3ds AUS?...
Kidding, but seriously I might not be as active until I'm able to sell the tablet as I would like to be able to test the application on real hardware
(ofc I will still be active, but stuff that depends on touch screen, CPU power etc can't be tested by me yet )

Its just the thing that is quite a lot easier to test it myself, and quite a lot easier

If by testing you mean running the software, I've been doing that every 5 builds or so or when I see an interesting update.
I wish I could help on the 3DS issue I'm really excited for this application

Oh I thought I would throw this out there, the most recent update tends to crash if i'm not connected to the internet and it sends me to the 3ds menu.

Edit:that would be build #196, I'm going to run #200 and see if that has changed.

Edit:#200 still crashes when there is no internet connection

Yeah, i bet it is the json parses as it fails the second time using it(new bug).
Also, I seem to be doing something every time the VTSP changes as the values seems to change based on scrolling for some reason...

Basically I have a lot to fix :/

Yeah I have no idea what VTSP is, but my roommate is pretty decent with json so I will see if he has free time this week to take a quick look. (considering he teaches programming...) Although I can't guarantee he will, or even has the time considering he's finishing up grading this week.
