There is just a shit load of fakes on eBay though, even if someone has good feedback it could all be from customers who don't know any better.
Try and stick to a local store if you can.

thing is feedback on ebay is a load of crap, if i bought a fake card, and complain and get a refund.....i cant leave feedback, so even if a hundred people found out they where fake, none of them actually get to leave feedback unless they take the hit and don't get a refund, and all the dodgy sellers know to just refund to avoid negative feedback so they can carry on selling to less informed people fake cards

Yeah I know, tell me about it. Also if they're a powerseller they get away with a lot of shit. It really bothers me, I've been scammed a few times and nearly lost $400. It's advertised as you're protected, and never need to worry about losing your money, but in reality. It depends who views your case, and if they are equally as stupid you will not get anywhere.

AFAIK there are no Gateway resellers that accept paypal.
Here is the list of all official resellers.
If you are scared of using your credit/debit card, a pre-paid will ensure that only a certain amount can escape your wallet.

so far I use a 16gb microsd for GW but I'll definitely need a bigger microsd for new 3DS

I'll probably use the 16gb for the 3ds and buy a bigger one (32) for GW

I think the method might use the TWL/AGB firmware, or GW in general has always used it... aside from the entry point it's not clear how it works or what memory it might use to operate in

I know this doesn't help people outside the US much but Amazon, new egg, tiger direct, Costco have all had great prices on 32 and 64 GB cards from Samsung and Sandisk recently. I bought the Samsung 32 Evo from Amazon and will likely pick up a 64 in the next couple of days.

From my experience with the Acekard, it is important to make backups and reformat them every once and a while with the Panasonic formatter. My boys are still using 8 GB cards in their r4 from 5 or six years ago.

Every time things have ever started getting wonky, reformatting has fixed the issue.

Personally I'll just put a 1GB card with DEVMENU in GW.
And install CIAs to my 32GB SD.

there is no way to install dev menu without gw if you aren't on 4.x right?

I believe that's GBA Temp's official store, so I doubt you'd have issues with it being safe. PayPal, I don't know as PayPal itself pretty much refuses to be a part of the flashcard market.

I believe the Red Card supports a 128GB Micro SDXC (Not sure above that though)
